My love of photography began when I was a child. My father use to take pictures of us all the time, so I guess I got my fascination for photography from him. I loved looking at old photographs as well as watching others as they looked at them. Seeing how they envolk memories as people look and talk about them. In college I took my first photography class as a prerequisite for my advertising degree. The challenge of creating the picture that I saw in my head and capturing it on film was addicting. My love stayed even though I did go into advertising. It wasn't until years later that my love totally took over.
I'd like to think that I do not need to speak for my photography, but let what I try to capture in the photographs speak for themselves. A persons true personality, the toothless grin on a six year old, the fake smile a four year old loves to give; or the big, inquisitive eyes of a infant that looks up and melt your heart with. The uniqueness of a high school senior preparing for a new season in life. Even at weddings I try to put myselves in your shoes, and be sensitive to your needs. The details that are important to you are important to me. As your photographer, I hope to give you the same joy that I feel when I look at pictures that I have created. It gives me great joy and satisfaction to know that my pictures will be a part of your family for years to come.
My business is about serving God the best way I know how. Which is giving the talents He has given me back and glorifying His name in the process. I have a yearning to please and a love for our Lord as Savior, thus comes the name “Artist 4 God”. Every day is a gift and a blessing! God has blessed me in ways too great to count. My life, my family, and my business - all prosper because of His abounding love.
